Attributed to Simon van der Does (Dutch, 1653/4-c. 1718) Two Pastoral Scenes Unsigned, artist identified on labels on the reverse. Oil on panel (one cradled), 11 1/4 x 9 3/8 in. (28.5 x 24.0 cm), in matching frames. Condition: Significant retouch which has turned brown, fine craquelure, varnish discoloration. Provenance: The estate of George Way. Estimate $200-300 Framed dimensions 18 3/8 x 16 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
