Small Staffordshire Historical Blue Transfer-decorated "America and Independence" States Plate, James and Ralph Clewes, Cobridge, England, c. 1819-36, with low two story structure in the center, Washington in a medallion to the left, impressed Clewes mark on the back, dia. 7 3/4 in. Estimate $200-250 Minor wear from use, but no obvious chips, cracks, or evidence of repair. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
