Staffordshire Historical Blue Transfer-decorated Arms of Maryland Pitcher, Thomas Mayer, Stoke-on-Trent & Longport, Staffordshire, c. 1830, the body with arms on a seacoast background and flower and leaf decoration overall, molded handle, the bottom with impressed Mayer mark, ht. 9 3/4 in. Provenance: The Fleischer Collection; the Richards Collection; and the Powers Collection; Freeman's, November 16, 2007; Purchased from William Kurau, November 2007. Estimate $2,500-3,500 Firing lines under top terminal of handle. No evidence of any damages or restorations throughout. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
