Andre Racz (Romanian American, 1916-1994) Boy Peeling an Orange. Signed "Andre Racz" in pencil beneath the image l.r., identified and dated "...CA. 1955..," in pencil in a later hand along the lower edge of the recto. Drypoint on laid paper with watermark, plate size 9 7/8 x 8 1/4 in., matted, unframed. Condition: Pale toning, hinged to cardboard backing with cellophane tape at two places along top edge of recto. Estimate $100-150 Sheet size is 17 3/8 x 15 1/2 in. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
