English, 20th century. George III style walnut tilt top supper table with C scroll borders surrounding eight recessed circular niches for holding plates surrounding a larger circular niche at center of top, acanthus leaf decoration in spandrels. Tilt top supported on balck with squat turned supports on a turned and tapered shaft with leaf tip banding at bottom above a tripod base bent legs with acanthus leaf carved knees terminating on ball and claw feet. Overall approximate height (when flat and not tilted) 29.7", diameter of top 37.4".
