Late Classic Navajo Chief's Blanket, finely woven in natural yellow and cream, two different indigo dyes, dark brown and synthetic red dyed homespun wool, woven in third phase Chief's pattern, composed of terraced triangles and diamonds with central yellow crosses, centering concentric fringed diamonds and half diamonds with flattened tops, overlaying three narrow black and red bands, all against a banded ground, 58 x 67 in.
