Gilt-bronze Figure of Vajradhara, Sino-Tibet, seated cross-legged on a lotus throne, with hands in vajrahumkara mudra, dressed in an ornate robe with ribbons, vajra mark impressed on base, ht. 12 in. Provenance: A private collection acquired some time ago from several New England galleries. Estimate $500-700 extensive gilt losses, tarnishing, patinas particularly to base.
