Owen 1863" l.r., with biographical information about Samuel Owen (British, 1768-1857) affixed to the frame backing paper, watercolor on paper, sight size 3 1/2 x 4 7/8 in.; and Continental School, 19th/20th Century, Ox Team and Driver Working Fields, signed indistinctly in pencil beneath the image l.r., etching with hand-coloring on paper, plate size 4 x 5 7/8 in. Condition: Ships not examined out of frame, Ox Team gently light-struck, minor foxing, crease to c.l. edge, hinged to window mat with cellophane tape.
