S. 1808 Contract Flintlock Musket, c. 1810, .70 bore, walnut stock with steel fittings, lock marked "SUTTON" in front of the cock, and marked "1810" on the tail of the lock, breech stamped with proof marks and "US," barrel lg. 44 5/8, overall lg. 60 in. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Stock has a few light dings and nicks, steel parts are bright with some scattered spotting, and the lock functions properly. Overall in good condition.
