Federal Mahogany Inlaid Demilune Card Table, Newport, Rhode Island, c. 1795, the folding top with wide crossbanded edge opens to reveal a felted playing surface, on a straight skirt with string-inlaid detail joining urn-inlaid dies above square tapering legs inlaid with tasseled stringing and ending in icicles at the feet, (imperfections and restoration), ht. 28, wd. 34 1/4, dp. 17 in.
