Emile Gallois (French, 1882-1965), hand painted ladies fan with figural scene of elegant men and women on the steps of a palace bidding farewell to to figures in a horse drawn carriage, gilt scrolled foliates at bottom of wintry scene. Signed lower right. Fan with mother of pearl accent on spoke, and tassel, overall contained within fitted shadowbox on a painted and fabric accented stand. Overall approximate height 10.75", width 16.25", depth 4.25".
