Oil on canvas, 28 x 20 in. (71.1 x 50.8 cm), framed. Condition: Lined. Provenance: The estate of Justin L. Cobb III, Massachusetts. N.B. The work was an illustration for the table of contents in the 1934 print edition of Charles Boardman Hawes' The Dark Frigate. Estimate $1,000-1,500 Framed dimensions: 32 3/4 x 24 1/2 inches.
