Pair of German Silver Candlesticks, Augsburg, late 18th/early 19th century, maker's mark "_B," with an elongated urn-form sconce and a fluted stem and stepped foot, ht. 10 1/2 in., approx. 24.7 troy oz. Estimate $300-500 One bobeche with dent to edge, one sconce with small semi-circular cut-out to rim (looks to be in the manufacture but is not repeated on the other stick), otherwise with light surface wear and a few shallow pinprick dents. Bobeches unmarked but appears original. Items may have wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
