Panel Painting Depicting Six Torments, China, possibly Ming dynasty, with a headless ghost Wutou gui, each torment with a titled cartouche in red, ink and color on silk, framed, painting 58 1/2 x 30 7/8 in. Estimate $600-800 remounted with numerous tears and retouches, extensive pigment losses along tears, creases, and cracks, severe buckling to bottom left, surface scratches, a detached tear to bottom right corner, detached from the frame.
