Inlaid Cherry and Mahogany Sideboard, Mid-Atlantic states, c. 1790-1810, the top with concave center and ovolo corners on a conforming case of central drawer and pair of hinged doors flanked by a drawer and hinged doors, all on six square tapering legs with inlaid tapering icicles, simulated pilasters and red sealing wax, ht. 43 1/2, wd. 60 1/4, dp. 26 in. Estimate $2,000-3,000 Some drawer runners have been replaced, and there is a missing piece of veneer on the left side door surround. There are veneer cracks and small patches to veneer and inlay, shrinkage cracks to the case sides, etc. The absence of a condition statement does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of aging.
