Four Fighting Knives, c. 1940s, a knife with a leather grip and steel blade, marked on the front of the scabbard "U.S.N." with "J.R. McMurray, JR./CRESCENT CITY, CALIF" on the back; a PAL knife with leather grip, aluminum pommel and steel blade with a woven sheath; a knife with a leather grip, steel blade, and leather sheath; and a KA-BAR with a leather grip, aluminum pommel, a steel blade marked "CARBON KA-BAR CHROME" with a leather scabbard. Provenance: The collection of Nicholas A. Penachio. Estimate $200-400 All have some wear from use, the KA_BAR is in very good condition with some slight wear on the blade.
