George II Sterling Silver Kettle-on-Stand, London, 1734-35, James Manners, maker, with a wicker-wrapped handle and large engraved armorial, ht. 12 1/4 in., approx. 63.0 troy oz. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Scattered pinprick dents and abrasions, particularly to lower body. Wicker wrap is newer replacement. Lid to burner unmarked, but engraved consistently and has good wear, interior rim bent and small break (sits well). Engraved area with thick silver surface, no evidence of erasure.
