Pair of Famille Verte Dishes, China, possibly 18th/19th century, depicting a man tilling a field using an elephant, next to a group of officials, gilt rims, six-character Jiaqing mark in iron red overglaze on base, dia. to 5 5/8 in. Estimate $800-1,000 a chip and hairline crack to one of the rims, minor gilt and enamel losses, firing flaws with pockmarks and bumps.
