Italian School, 17th/18th Century Allegory of Faith, Likely Pertaining to the Teutonic Order Inscribed indistinctly in ink "Disegno fatto dell... Teutonico" l.l. Ink and wash on watermarked laid paper, 10 1/8 x 15 in. (25.7 x 37.7 cm), framed. Condition: Foxing, staining, toning, handling creases, nicks and wear to edge, sheet trimmed to the edge of the image, with a small tab of paper left intact at the l.l. corner containing an inscription. Estimate $400-600 With a label from Herbert E. Feist, Restorer & Framemaker, New York, affixed to the back of the frame.
