Sold for:
$96,250

Table top displaying minor points of wear from contact and use over time. Scattered shallow gouges to top and edges in keeping with use. Several of the boards comprising the table top show minor cupping or warping with signs of restoration or filling in of gaps. Minor wear to finish from exposure to sun. Trapezoidal top has a taper measuring 39.75 at its widest and 29.25 at its thinnest. There are various additional holes to supports affixing top to base. Separation to joined seams on leg not affecting stability. An electrical outlet and switch (button) has been added to the underside. Copper planter displaying patina and oxidation from age and use as a planter. Small bruises and abrasions to legs from contact. Some areas to top show pen marks that are somewhat obscured by grain pattern. Overall the table presents well in person and bears an attractive, vintage appearance. Photos available. Table top tapers measuring 29.25 inches at one end and 39.75 inches at the other end. Planter box is removable with a matching rosewood cover insert to make the table top solid. USA, c. 1951
