Overall good condition. Slight bend to cover of stamp box. Coils of letter holder misshapen. Light scratches and a few indentations to inkwell. Letter openers and paper knives exhibit some bends and wear. Dimension listed is for sword-form paper knife. Two paper knives, one sword form engraved ‘M D Washington’ marked ‘5762’, the other example with bird motif, marked ‘5479’.
Four letter openers, one with an applied ribbon marked ‘5682’, one with Paul Revere and Liberty Bell handle dated ‘1776’, one Etruscan form marked ‘119’ and one inscribed ‘Fritzsche Brothers 25th Anniversary 1871-1896’ with monogram.
Two clips, one heart form marked ‘6768’ and one palmetto form marked ‘Rand & Crane 8619’.
Coiled letter holder with scroll feet marked ‘Gorham MFG Co 7292’.
Circular form inkwell.
Stamp box with monogram marked ‘157 B Galt & Bro’.
