Shepard, Thomas (1605-1649) The Parable of the Ten Virgins. [London]: Re-printed, and carefully Corrected in the Year, 1695. Second edition, first folio edition, boards detached. Shepard made important contributions as a New England Puritan minister in the 17th century. His theology included an understanding of God as an accessible and welcoming figure each parishioner's life. He established the First Congregational Church in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1636.
