With at least six layers carved within intricate and ornate ivory puzzle ball. Puzzle ball with figural decoration within architectural elements, birds, and scrolling leaf forms. Interior layers carved with stars and dots. Stand with a circular base with leaf decoration on bottom rim with floral and cross-hatching patterns. Stand shaft with seven figures intermittenly dispersed in various activities around two blossoming trees. Shaft also with star and dot decoration that matches interior of puzzle ball. Height 7.25 inches. Circumference of puzzle ball approximately 3 inches. Height of stand 5 inches.
