second half 18th century the slant front opening to an interior fitted with drawers and pigeonholes above four long graduated drawers, raised on cabriole legs ending in claw and ball feet. Height 43 3/4 x width 37 3/4 x depth 18 1/2 inches. Property from the Estate of Betty Melaver, Savannah, Georgia In overall good, stable, usable condition. Exterior with even, later finish having light surface wear (nicks & scratches) consiistent with age and use. Some tight age splits to panels. One slide lacking pull, other drawer pulls replaced. All drawers open and close smoothly. Fall front and upper two exterior \;drawers with locks, the third drawer down had a lock which is now lacking, the lowest drawer without lock.
