late 19th century after a Palissy design, the figural handle in the form of a nude maiden, each side decorated with an oval cartouche depicting a reclining nude in a landscape against a cobalt ground, signed Pull to the underside. Height 13 1/2 inches. Property from the Collection of The Steins, Glencoe, Illinois In decent, stable condition consistent with age. Chip to the foot. Crazing to the glaze. Minor surface chips to the male mask on the vase's body under the spout. Shelf wear to the foot consistent with age and use. Two areas of surface loss (one of which is repaired) to the widest horizontal band on the body of the vase.
