early 20th century having a shaped leather-inset top above a frieze drawer, raised on cabriole legs headed by busts. Height 29 x width 48 1/2 x depth 29 inches. In fair, stable condition overall. With surface scratches, minor scuffs and areas of discoloration to the inset leather writing surface. With one frieze drawer and three faux drawers; the functioning drawer shows some resistance when opening/closing. Allover instances of of lifting, surface wear and areas of repair to the boulle, and numerous instances of warping and "popping" to the brass inlay. Gilt bronze mounts with even, slightly dull patinas.
