Italian, mid to late 19th century. A Neoclassical style six-light giltwood chandelier, having an hourglass form shaft with four columnar supports, with an acanthine domed top, with six upturned support arms mounted with acanthus leaves and terminating in acanthus candle cups, with a tiered egg and dart and acanthus base, with an egg and dart molded ceiling cap. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height (of chandelier only) 23", diameter 24".
