A 20th century patinated cast bronze sculpture with striated green marble base after the original work by noted American sculptor Frederic Sackrider Remington (American, 1861-1909) currently housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, sculpture depicting a horseback battle scene wherein two calvarymen (called Dragoons) and two Plains Indians engage in combat, signed to naturalistically rendered base "Frederic Remington", with plaque to marble base "Old Dragoons by Frederic Remington". Overall approximately 14" x 22.25" x 11".
