An image of an X-ray of Muhammad Ali's jaw, originally taken after Ken Norton broke Ali's jaw during their first of three fights, on March 31, 1973, at the San Diego Sports Arena in California. Norton won a 12-round split decision over Ali to secure the NABF Heavyweight title. At the time, this was only Ali's second defeat of his professional career.
