Foster Campos Gilt-front Girandole Clock, Pembroke, Massachusetts, 20th century, mahogany case with a gilt eagle finial, bezel, and lower pediment, gilt frames enclosing the reverse-paintings on glass, the lower marked Aurora , the throat marked Patent , 7 3/4-in. painted iron dial signed with maker's name and location, brass side ornaments, eight-day weight-powered time-only movement, damascened brass pendulum bob and a lead weight, ht. 46 in. Note: Foster Campos reportedly only made twelve of these larger size clocks, which are the approximate dimensions of those made by L. Curtis.
