First edition, oblong folio, consisting of: book boards, title page, and seven of eight preliminary leaves; the twenty-three colored and lightly tinted lithographs printed by Julius Bien after Mathews's original sketches removed from the original book; each plate professionally cleaned, mended (when necessary) and matted separately; all materials housed in two large custom-made red cloth boxes, the plates 13 x 18 3/4 in.
