American School, first half 20th century. "Rocky River at Autumn", oil on vintage advertising board, indistinguishably signed lower left. Painting depicts a wide river flowing beside a high cliff side with tall snowcapped mountains in the distance, with large boulders and rocks in the river flow in central foreground and a grassy bank to the left. Verso of painting surface with fragment of hand painted advertising sign of unknown origin. Framed approximately 10.25" x 14.25 , unframed approximately 8" x 12".
