Antique Gold and Diamond Pendant/Brooch, c. 1860-70, the cross set with old mine-cut diamonds, approx. total wt. 2.50 cts., lg. 1 1/4 in. Provenance: The descendants of Alice Larkin Toulmin. Note: Alice Larkin Toulmin famously restored her grandfather's early 19th century home in Monterey, California. The Larkin House is now a museum and considered the prototype for Monterey Colonial architecture.
