After Carlo Dolci (Italian, 1616-1687) Angel of the Annunciation Unsigned. Oil on canvas, 29 x 22 3/4 in. (73.5 x 58.0 cm), framed. Condition: Lined, minor retouch, craquelure. Provenance: Purchased in London by Terence Lewis prior to 1980, by descent to the current owner. N.B. This copy is thought to date from the 19th century. The original by Carlo Dolci, c. 1650, is in the Museo di San Marco, Florence.
