late 19th century comprising two fauteuils and six side chairs, each having a caned back within a channel molded frame above a shaped stuffover cushion seat, raised on floral decorated cabriole legs. Height 37 inches. Property from the Estate of Sara and Sherman Feinstein, Wilmette, Illinois Each in good, stable, usable condition. Armchairs with affixed leather seats, side chairs with removable cushions. Each leather cushion with some wear/creasing consistent with age and use. Caning intact throughout with the exception of the back to one side chair which has an area of damage to the side which runs approx. 5 inches. Frames intact throughout, with fairly even finish, light to moderate surface wear consistent with age and use. Some slight age separations at some joints. Additional images available upon request.
