circa 1815 each having an arched back and a double cornucopia splat above a stuffover cushion seat, raised on square tapering legs. Height 33 3/4 inches. Property of Jamieson Design, St. Louis, New York Provenance: Karl Kemp, New York Sold Christie's New York, 28-29 August 2012, Lot 428 Good condition overall; sturdy. A few scuffs and gilt losses to the giltwood splat elements. Upholstery clean and intact with only a couple of stains. 2 giltwood splat elements with cracks; one with age cracks and possible repairs.
