A lovely French gilt metal casket trinket box, the hinged lid with central handpainted oval portrait of Marie Antoinette flanked by inset blue guilloche enamel plaques opening to an interior with floral needlework. The underside with impressed "FRANCE" within a flag. Approximate height 1.62", width3.75", depth 2.75".
