Kikukawa Eizan (Japanese, 1787-1867). "Three Beauties of the Pleasure Quarters (Seirô Mitate san Bijin)", vertical oban triptych woodblock print of ink and color on paper (3 sheets), circa 1801-1808, signed by the artist and bearing censor's seal for Kiwame. A scarce complete Edo Period triptych comprising vertical woodcuts depicting geishas or courtesans each positioned standing before a bamboo fence with birdhouse and trees in background and wearing ornate and colorful robes. Each print framed floating within an individual matching frame. Each structure to verso with label from Fred Reed, Atlanta, GA. Framed approximately 22.5" x 17.25".
