Roden Bros, Ltd. (Canadian, 1891-c.1958), circa 1934. A sterling silver award dish from the 1934 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Horse Show given as 1st prize to La La Success in the category of Pony Driven by a Lady, the round plate with heavy twisted gadroon edge punctuated by six square scroll cartouches. Tondo inscribed to the winner. Underside with maker's mark "925 R" beside lion rampant. Approximate diameter 10". Approximate weight 14.5 troy ounces.
