Baker Furniture Company (American, founded 1903), second half 20th century. A chinoiserie decorated coffee, cocktail or low table having a rectangular inset distressed parquet oak top within a parcel gilt border, the scalloped shaped apron in black lacquer with parcel gilt decorated floral and diaper motif raised on square legs terminating on incurvate feet. Underside of top mounted with 'Baker Furniture' brass plaque. Approximate height 16.5", width 40.5", depth 22.4".
