A handwritten note to Steve Jobs from the artist Jean-Michel Folon, dated June 7, 1990. According to a paper published by Andy Hertzfeld, Folon was approached by Jobs to design a small animated character named Mister Macintosh that would appear on the Apple II screen at random times. It was decided that the character would use too much RAM space and was thus never installed, though Folon and Jobs remained good friends. Includes the original envelope on Folon's personal stationery. 8 1/4 by 11 1/2 inches PROVENANCE From the caretakers of the Jackling House (1984-1990) Categories: Steve Jobs
