Rufus Porter (Connecticut/Massachusetts, 1792-1884) Profile Portrait Miniature of a Young Girl "Harriet Mansu--" Unsigned. Watercolor on paper, the subject bust-length, her hair back in a shell comb and a red dress, inscribed on the reverse with the sitter's name and the date 1825, 2 3/4 x 3 1/2 in. (sight), in an eglomise and gilt mat and period molded giltwood frame. Condition: Minor toning to paper, paper rounded at corners.
