Okito (Tobias Bamberg). Three-page TLS from Okito to F.E. Powell. Dated August 23, 1912, and filled with good content, Okito writes to his fellow magician in regarding orders Powell has made from John Willmann for various illusions (including the Goddess and the Reptile, which would become a feature of Powells show), comments on the quality of the props, and describes his own performances. Okito also outlines an impossible card rise of his own invention and explains the methods of various tricks, including a black art dancing skeleton on a blackboard. Three 4to sheets with one marginal note in Bambergs hand. Signed Theo.
