Dutch School, last half 19th century. "Early Supper", oil on canvas, signed indistinctly and dated at lower right "O. Schmigel 71". Figural genre scene painting with realistic rendering depicting a family just sitting down to dinner, the father and three children are seated at a wooden table, while the mother serves from a large bowl, the room with ornate glass window letting in afternoon light and glowing fireplace. Framed approximately 29.75" x 33.5". Unframed approximately 19.5" x 2.25".
