Continental, last half of 19th century. A marquetry inlay two door armoire,with an overhanging molded cornice and a marquetry inlaid frieze centered with flowering urn and bordered with checkered line inlay, above a pair of parquetry doors centered with scrolling foliage mounted with short brass fiche hinges and long shaped escutcheons with fish, the interior with large open shelf over three aligned short drawers and a long drawer, resting on a shaped apron and squat cabriole legs. Height 88", width 59", depth 21.75".
