Continental, late 19th / early 20th century. A collection of two pastoral landscape paintings, each depicting bucolic scenes with flocks of sheep, each signed indistinctly, comprising "Blue Skies Over Green Hills"-circa 1889, oil on canvas, signed and dated indistinctly at lower right possibly "S. Pizzmar 89", a bucolic landscape painting depicting a bright, early spring day with sheep wandering rolling meadows with birch trees and wild flowers, with a small cottage in the distance and cumulous clouds dotting blue skies overhead; and "Sheep in the Clearing", oil on canvas, signed at lower right "A.R. Sharp", a pastoral landscape painting depicting sheep seated under the shade of dense trees on a grassy hillside, with a valley and rolling hills in the distance, with blue skies overhead. "Blue Skies Over Green Hills" framed approximately 15.125" x 19", unframed approximately 8.125" x 12". "Sheep in the Clearing" framed approximately 15" x 18.75", unframed approximately 8" x 12".
