Italian, 20th century. A carved Renaissance Revival style walnut sideboard or cabinet, with a central cabinet flanked on either side by chamfered side cabinets, each ornately carved with grape vine motif doors and circular borders, beneath an apron carved with laurel swags and mounted with ram's heads, with an overhanging top, and a high, two-tiered back, supported by swagged griffins and elaborately carved with a gadrooned roundel and foliated background with an egg and dart border, the upper shelf with cornucopia finials, the whole resting on carved wheat sheaf and scrolled feet. Apparently unmarked. Approximate height 78", width 59.5", depth 16.5".
