Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot (French, 1796-1875) Souvenir du Bas-Bréau , c. 1858, printed c. 1921. Signed "COROT" within the matrix, numbered "116/150" in pencil on the verso, and with the printer's stamp of M. Le Garrec "SL" within a circle in violet ink on the verso. Cliché-verre on paper, sheet size 8 x 6 7/16 in., matted, unframed. Condition: Possible subtle toning, hinged on right side. N.B. The letters "SL" are the initials of the editor Edmond-Honoré Sagot (1857-1917) and his successor Le Garrec (d. 1937) (Lugt, 1766a). The stamp was applied by Le Garrec to all the prints of the edition of l'Album de 40 clichés-verres de Corot, Daubigny, Rousseau, Millet, Delacroix , published in 1921 in an edition of 150.
