A Liberace handwritten letter to Liberace talent club president Max Ducray. The two-page double-sided letter is handwritten in purple ink and dated January 2, 1962, with a return address from Liberace's Hollywood home. The letter discusses Liberace's discomfort with writing letters and his desire to speak to people in person or on the phone instead. He goes on to say that he appreciates Ducray's club but only wants it to continue if there is no pressure to participate personally. The letter reads in part "I consider you a great friend but please don't spoil it by demanding more of me than I am capable of giving - and that includes writing letters." The letter is signed "love always, Lee." 11 by 8 1/2 inches EST. $600-800 Categories: Liberace
