Set of Six Polychrome Painted Side Chairs, Pennsylvania, 1840-50, the shaped crests over pierced splats flanked by ring-turned stiles over plank seats with rolled seat rails on front legs and turned back legs joined by stretchers, old mustard-colored paint with polychrome floral decorated crests and splats with black and yellow accents, (some paint decoration has been enhanced), ht. 33, seat ht. 17 1/2 in.
